info if you got it
I have been seeing a lot of dyno sheets and just performance numbers in general. What I don't get is when I look at the brochure for the '08 bikes it has all the tech specs in the back, they my superglide as well as any '08 dyna has 92 ft-lbs of torque and some thing about "nm"s whatever the hell those r.Why when you look at a guys dyno sheet after is mods does it say something less than the stock numbers. I'm not a total bucket head when it comes to mechanics but I can't figure out what the difference is.
If I could get some help with the subject i would appreciate it, preferebly in lamens terms please I already feel like a tool not knowing this stuf>below is and example of what I mean.
DYNA TWIN CAM 96 STOCK VS. SE STREET PERFORMANCE MUFFLERS

RE: info if you got it
Not sure I understand the question. The two dotted lines are the stock HP and torque. The blue and red lines are the measured HP and torque after the mufflers are on. Both show improved numbers, albeit not a lot higher, depending on engine speed, better performance in some ranges. Also, advertised torque is maybe measured off the motor, and the charts at the rear wheel. I'm a layman, but that has always been my take on the dyno charts. <qualifier - I may be all wet here!>
