Has anybody replaced thier front fender on their DynaSG, LRor SB (19" wheel)? The stock fender doesn't hug the tire like on a Wide Glide (21" wheel). HD makes only front fender for the Dyna and it's made to fit the 21" wheel. I'd like to have fender that hugs the tire, but looks stock.

i agree with you that it would look better. i thought of cutting 3/4 of an inch out of the bracket and welding it back together.i have to get my fender painted anyway cause the rivits came loose and the paint chipped around them i ground them off and did some cutting on my fender so i might as well lower it too.

 

i'm in the process of installing this one now

what did you use to space the fender off the tire and how thick was it?

i have my stock fender off and it looks like you can just drill new holes and trim off the bottom, basically what i just did on my new raw fender.
