You will find that the Dyna seems to just fit like a pair of gloves. I have put 400mile day on my sundower and rode all day with touring bikes and still would not trade. I am 4 hours from the Gulf or the Atlantic or the Mountains and hang out out of town most weekends. I thinkyou will not even look back once the fun sets in.

Lets see if I did this right. Here is the Road King that I sold (still in garage, too cold for the guy to ride home) and here is the Street Bob (still at the dealer, same reason!).

Thanks for the comments guys, I am actually looking forward to the fun of riding a bike with cool history behind it. I fell in love with the Bob when it came out. I can always get another bagger "when I am old". HA! [8D]

When I get the Bob home, I am putting it in the basement (finished) so that I can put the pipes, fuel pak and air kit on in 70 degree comfortable temperatures while listening to music. What a better way to spend a winter Saturday if you can't ride!!!

SgtThump,

I am almost ashamed to say I bought it from Bob Schultz. Their service department is horrible, but they have the CHEAPEST prices in the area. I would have loved to buy it from Doc's, but that would have cost a grand more! I am a loyal Doc's customer but it is MY MONEY we are talking here. I will get all service and accessories from Doc's as usual!

As for the treatment at BS, I am treated just fine on the sales floor. If you are looking for the best out the door price on a HD, go talk to Gary Wood in sales. Tell him I sent you (I get a bird-dog $$$). I have to tell ya, this is the 3rd Harley I bought from him (BS) and each have been priced a lot lower than other dealers around.

Nice looking scooter you have there!

Cool man, thanks! I'm new to the motorcycle world, but it didn't take me long to notice that Doc's is FANTASTIC when it comes to parts and stuff. Haven't had them do any service, but I will sometime. I had a bad experience with the service department at GatewayHD, but they made it right in the end. I need to give those guys another chance, since they're really close to my home.

Just saw your pic and yeah, I like vivid black on the Street Bobs! Great looking bike!

Thanks and see ya around!

Dog06Bob,

Yeah, it would be nice to keep both bikes but I suspect that I will only ride the Bob. Heck, I am only 48! When I get old, I will get another bagger! LOL!
