Lets see, I will try to get some of the replies answered. [&:

I got the vivid black, which was a TOUGH decision because I really like the denim! The tree had to fall one one or the other. I will post pictures when I get it. With the weather being what it is in the St. Louis area for the next several days (COLD), I may not get it home for a week!

In the mean time, I will see if I can shrink a picture enough that it will be accepted. Seem to be having a little problem with that here.

I am actually looking forward to the opinions regarding what I did for a second seat. My wife likes to ride every now and then so I drove the salesman nuts! We took the seats off all the Dyna bikes (except fat bob) and put them on the Street Bob. I loved the way the Dyna Low seat looked so I ordered one! Anyway, soon as it gets warm enough you can count on the pics.

 

Hey LT! I'm in the St. Louis area as well. I think you did great by going with the vivid black! I like that better than the denim, but that's just a personal preference.

Where did ya get it and how did they treat ya?

I am almost ashamed to say I bought it from Bob Schultz. Their service department is horrible, but they have the CHEAPEST prices in the area. I would have loved to buy it from Doc's, but that would have cost a grand more! I am a loyal Doc's customer but it is MY MONEY we are talking here. I will get all service and accessories from Doc's as usual!

As for the treatment at BS, I am treated just fine on the sales floor. If you are looking for the best out the door price on a HD, go talk to Gary Wood in sales. Tell him I sent you (I get a bird-dog $$$). I have to tell ya, this is the 3rd Harley I bought from him (BS) and each have been priced a lot lower than other dealers around.

My bike used to look like that. In fact, mine doesn't even look like my sig anymore. Have a windshield, boss bags and Lindbar on it now. Kinda looks like a baby bagger but it's what I want. That's the cool thing about the SBs. Lotsa choices.
