Removing exhaust bracket with Big Radius installed

Removing exhaust bracket with Big Radius installed
I can do a lot of things on my bike I never thought I'd be doing. However, when I had my Big Radiuses installed last week, I failed to notice that the dealer failed to remove the front headpipe exhaust mount bracket. Now it just sticks out there between the lower part of the engine and the lower pipe. It actually doesn't stand out unless looking down from above but I really would like it GONE.
As a result of a side discussion about this in another thread, a good samaritan forum member offered to send me his special wrench that is specifically for removing this bracket. Shipping it back and forth is only less than half of what it would cost to buy the wrench and I don't see ever needing it again. Anyway, I got the wrench today and went out to use it. However, I can't seem to get enough clearance at any angle, even with the special wrench, to get at the bolts holding the bracket on and turn them at all. There are a couple of things in the way but what's mostly in the way is the Big Radius pipe. Has anyone else successfully removed the bracket with Big Radius pipes on the bike? It's becoming apparent to me that this should probably be done with the pipe(s) removed. I'm not sure I want it gone bad enough to do that. This bracket may become a new gremlin bell mounting point instead unless someone can suggest a reasonable way to OFF this thing. Any ideas?

RE: Removing exhaust bracket with Big Radius installed
Put BSS pipes on my bike saturday in about 2 hours. Got my quiet baffles on Monday and had to take it back off to install the baffles. Off, baffles and back on in an hour. Can't get to the screw that holds the baffles in without removing the heat shields. They didn't include that little tidbit of info in the directions. You can do it.

I pulled the bit out of the torx socket, you can then get a wrench on it and with a bbit of patience you can unscrew them.
course you could always get a dremel on them and grind the heads off then just use some grips to unscrew the stubs [sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif]
