Question: What did they give you for trade-in on the 05?

I would echo questions above though...Why did you trade and how fair was the trade?

 

I would trade the 01 for a Fat Bob but everytime I go to do it I just can't part with the my ride that fits me like a glove and one that I love so much............ Maybe a WG front and FatBob front tire...........Got me thinking again............anyone done it???? OH Enjoy the ride.

They gave me $9000.00 for the lowrider, and as far aswhy I did it ,well, I started looking at some bikes on the HD website and I wanted pipes, forward controls, backrest,solo seat,and a windshield. When I got to the dealer I saw a 1200 c sportster that had all of that, but in talking with the salesman,I really found that I did not want to go down in size, he showed me the superglide, which has the pipes,forwards, and solo seat already, I added the backrest and pillion,the only thing I did not get was the windshield due to the payment,(I needed it at a certain payment and so I had to leave out the windshield. I am thrilled with the bike and I do think it was a great deal.
