Default Street Bob Bars- Will they fit with out...?

OK, Just a quick question, hopefully Ill get good feed back.
I am looking to put some apes on my 08 Super Glide, Im not sure if Ill like themso I was looking at someing small and least expensive to start out. I was wondering if the Street Bob bars will fit without having to change the wiring and cables. I saw on post on here that some one put some 12" apes and required no changing. Any input or point me in the right direction. Im a bit lost with the bar issue as I have always had drag bars on my metrics , and this is my first Harley.
Thanks in advance.

I saw a post recently saying it would not work without new wires - so who knows for sure? Anyone?

I put T-bars on mine and they didn't change the wires but it seems to have taken all the wire that was available for the most part. And I doubt mine are further to the switches than 12" apes.

I put street bob bars on my 06 dyna (which I dont have anymore) but the wiring you can pull enough out of the frame. But...you have to put on new throttle/idle cables,f/brakeline and clutch cable. I highly doubt the stock ones would be long enough. But if you order through Zanotti's, you'll save some money.

I have the STreet Bob bars on mine. You can see what they look like in my sig. I had to change cables, but the wiring reached. Look here or eBay for take-offs. Should be able to find the whole set-up under a hundred bucks.
