The 05 Deuce has a 3/4 inch axle (i think), and the hub is too wide. The only hub which will work is from an 06 - 08 Low Rider, Street Bob, or Super Glide laced wheel.

 

That's really nice man. I admire you for doing the lacing yourself. It's something I've always wanted to try, but have never had the occasion. I do have a setup for truing, and have done several of my own, but just never had occasion to lace a wheel.

Thanks Psycho. I would loved to have had a set-up which would have allowed my to true up this wheel. Would have given the satisfaction of having donemore myself. This is not something I wanted to do and not know it was right, for safety's sake. I felt it was best to puss out and have it done correctly.

 

looks great!!!!!! im about to redo my front end on my streetb0b to a wdg front end, iam also going with the 21 rim. i bought a mint 07 softail 21 rim (60.00 forum member). i wont have to change hubs after the wdg front end is install. but you have me itching to get started on the mod, ive been just so busy latly. the 21 looks awesome on your bike

 

Thanks Jackyl. What all are you doing? Just trees, or are you doing forks and all. Are you using OEM WG trees? If not, what brand and rake?

 

i bought a set of 06 wdg trees (125.00 off a forum member), they are at the chromers right now (100.00 to be chromed). iam just installing the wdg trees and using my stock tubes, i bought a wdg front fender ($30 ebay)so no spacers needed for the fender,i bought the chrome wdg sliders (75.00 ebay new)so i dont need spacers for the caliper or rotoreither. then i bought a mint 07 softial 21 rim (60.00 of a forum member). so roughly it will cost me to install a wdg front end is275.00 total, after i buy my front axle.375.00 total if you get the trees chromed. jackyl

 

Man, I look forward to seeing it. Lay off the tank lifts a while and get busy on the front end.

I want to do something to my front......maybe chrome low rider trees and chrome sliders.
