That looks really good. I am at 10,000 miles now and fixin to put a new back tire on my rear and I think when it's time for the front in another 4000 miles or so I am going to do this as well. I assume you ordered the stainless spokes......is that correct. I can check my JP cycle catalog to your part number. I was thinking of doing something similar but using the twisted spokes.

No,I went with the chrome steel spokes just attempting to match the rear wheel as close as possible. I may be sorry down the road. If so, I will change them out.

Man, that looks good. I have been considering lacing up a 21 front also. Is it about the same outer diameter with the tire as a 19"? If not, about how much did your front end raise up because of it?

Yes, they are 40 spoke. The first two attempts were a bitch trying to follow the manual's instructions and apply them to the actual lacing. Once I figured out what was going on, it was pretty easy.

 

The outside diameter is about an inch taller which raises the front up about a half inch.
