Ok ... Here is what I did.... a Drag Specialty curved plate holder ( I actually had to trim the plate for it fit inside the holder)and an inspection sticker bracket from the stealer in Chorinth, TX.

I ordered my Texas cut yesterday, can't wait to put it on. Hey Mud, when you got yours did you put your existing sticker on it, or get a new one? Mine is new from the dealer and I'd like to just peel that one off but they are designed so you shouldn't be able to. Just looking for any ideas on how to get it off mostly whole to put on the new plate.

Bish, I got a new one.

I think the other was almost expired.

I doubt you can peel yours off, maybe you can.

Yea, that's what I thought. I'll try getting it off, HOGRIDA suggested a hair dryer. I'll give it a shot and go get a new one if not. Thanks for the response.

I will try to get a pic of what was done with the inspection sticker. I have a custom billet rear light and plate combo. Having the inspection sticker at the bottom was not good and looked terrible with the billet. Never could close up the gap for the plate bracket. I took the standard aluminum inspection sticker plate and cut it down with a tab sticking out from one side. I drilled a hole in the tab and secured it to the bolt that holds the upper belt guard to the swingarm single bolt. It holds well and is out of the way. I have not had a problem with it nor with the law concerning its location.

Well I got mine last night and damn is it nice!! Very good quality and a fantastic look. I was able to use the hair dryer and get the inspection sticker off in one piece, so that's more money for modding!! I'll try to get a pic of it tonight, I did have to make a small adjustment to the nuts that came with it.

What type of nut adjustment was needed? I'd like to get it fixed before I make any more. I probably have to adjust my nuts a dozen or so times a day.

LOL, nothing to do with the design Hog. I was painting a few bits and pieces denim black and so I shot a coat on the hardware. Fit and finish of the bracket were superb.
