I went to install the tailight relocation kit from HD and decided I would rather cut my wires off at the connector and put on a new pin connector; instead of following their directions and using a line splice.
Now I've been several places that claim "they've never seen one that small", (pin connector that is), including Radio Shack and Auto Zone, and I'm begining to worry a bit.
So:
Does anyone know where I can get pin connectors or new plugs for my rear turn signals?
Am I gonna have to pony up to HD and buy more S**t I don't need?
Why didn't the kit come with a cover for the side fender hole that's left when you relocatethe signalsto the plate bracket?
Why isn't Ohio States band not the best in the land anymore?

I'm gonna try NAPA and see what they got, but I still gotta cover that hole, ideas?

 

You only fk'd up a little. The terminals and connectors should be available at the dealer for afew dollars. Replacement harnesses are available from HD also but they cost about $30.00 per side.

I hate to say it but the dealer has those too, mine was unable to find it in thier catalog but a list member sent me a set for free....which I sent to the guy who bought my saddle bags, sorry.

 

they can be purchased from anyone who handles AMP connectors

 

As an aircraft mechanic I will tell you never ever ever destroy the old part until the new part is in hand. Day late and a dollar short I know.
