Hi All,

I would like to get some apes for my bike. 16's would be nice. As I look on ebay there are tons of choices.

for 300 +..

I see the difference is you get all the controls as well for the higher price and you have to use your own on the lower price.

Really what the chapest way to do all this. I don't want to have to drill any holes or anything like that.

Seems like there are a lot of options but 300-500 is a lot of bucks.

Any suggestions.

The second one doesnt seem like a deal at all.. For another $200 you get the chrome bars, controls, and wires all assembled, ready to install, I may be going with a deal like this myself.. The black powder coat shouldnt add that much to the price, I just think $350 is high for bare bars and cables..

 

the bars them selves can run from 59/200$ mine are the 59 type ok only 1 inch they are pre drilled /dimpled and 16 tall I did have to buy one inch risers and new throttle cables but that was it. I went the cheap route but then again I do own a softail..

The handlebar is not a good place to go cheap. I would always stick with a quality bar like a Wild1 Chubby.
Might as well get stainless braided cables while you are at it. all your stock controls will work with the new bar/cables. It will cost you a little more money, but well worth it.
