That's a very interesting and unique solution for your a/c cover. I can't help but wonder if you did anything to dull the cutting edges. I see the potential for some accidentalbodily harm there.

dsavage et all,
I have the original football cleaner and am also looking to up my style. Problem is I have a K&N under it that wont fit under a round filter. http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RK-3909
Any ideas? (Yeah, I know - buy a big sucker, but I am really happy with the filter and don't want to run a rain sock since I ride as my main trans to and from work) Thanks for any help.

Is there a sock for the Arlen Ness Big Sucker? I don't want to take in excess water in wet conditions.

Anybody know?

Thanks.

Depends how bad you want to change styles, it all takes $.
As I posted earlier I'm running a HD round cover w/AN Big Sucker and have run in some heavy rain and it didn't do anything as far as I could tell.
The ones who will need to use a sock in the rain are the ones where the filter is open to the elements, like deanz and others have shown.

I now have HD smooth air cleaner cover ready to modify like yours.
So when you removed your black faux carbon fiber trim ring on your football
did you use the same adhesive that was on the trim to attach to the new air cleaner?
Does the ring lay flat like it does on the football?

Thanks

Selling this one soon.
