RE: Bike(s) you wish you still had..
I wish I still had my 2000 Honda XR650R. That beast would now be a supermotard full of all kinds of hooliganism! Unfortunately, I sold it shortly after I returned from Korea in 2005. I didn't think I wanted to invest the time or money to get it street legal. Hindsight is 20/20!

RE: Bike(s) you wish you still had..
Back in the late 80's while I was in college I was throwing bales for a local farmer and he showed me a 1966 Ducati 250 monza he had in a shed. He sold it to me for $25. I got it running and rode it to his farm to show him. It didn't stay running long (ignition issues). It required special tools that I was unable to locate and I ended up giving up on the project. My father didn't want it sitting around so I ended up scrapping it. What an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Gee Jake thanks for reminding me of that I thought I had repressed that bad memory. J/K LOL

Man the memories this post brings back. In the early 60s, I had a Cushman Eagle (a lot of you probably will not remember these), then I bought a 250 Triump Tiger Cub. Wish I still had both of those. The Cushman Eagles are now going for 3-5k and don't know what the Cubs are selling for. But the bike I really wanted back then and was never able to get, was a Mustang (again a lot of you will not remember these either). I still have my ironhead Sportster(70 XLCH)in the family (gave it to my oldest son). Thanks for posting that question, brought back some wonderful memories.

RE: Bike(s) you wish you still had..
It turned out pretty nice. I have bought and sold so many bikes that I don't really have one that sticks out above the rest. I never really had a bond with any of my bikes until I got my Dyna. I plan on buying a bagger in the next couple of years, but I think I will always have my Dyna. Too many memories...
