VH or Bassani on Street Bob

RE: VH or Bassani on Street Bob
Wow the pipe looks better in that pic. The pic I posted makes it look smaller. I think i'm going to like the Bassani.
Thursday at 12:00 or 1:00 works best for me. I'll keep you posted on the install progress and we can firm everything up next week.
Thanks Again.

RE: VH or Bassani on Street Bob
The Brown Truck brought my new Bassani 2:1 Road Rage in Black today. Pictures do not do this pipe justice. It looks unreal. I'm so glad the VH SS Staggered was on back order for so long that I had time to change my mind and decide to go with the Bassani. Eastern did a great job getting me the pipe a day ahead of what they promised and the price was the best I could find. I know i put up a lower price in earlier posts but that dealer was talking chrome not black.
If all goes well my Stage 1 should be installed, tuned and ready to roll within a week.
And so it is:
2007 Dyna FXDBi Street Bob
Screamin Eagle Stage 1 w/ K&N Air Filter
Bassani 2:1 Road Rage Exhaust in Black
Screamin Eagle Race Tuner
I can't wait. I'll post an update and some pics when I get it on the road.

RE: VH or Bassani on Street Bob
UPDATE:
Yesterday I installed my new Bassani 2:1 Road Rage and Screamin Eagle Stage 1 AC on my SB. Stock pipes came off pretty easily. No problems with getting the O2 sensors out and reinstalled into the new pipes. The Bassani was really difficult to install. I thought it would never go on the bike. Tried cussing, praying, sweating, more cussing but it would not cooperate. Finally realized it was just not going to fit so I gave up. Decided to try one more time and was able to get it to go on. The only advice I have if others have the same trouble is use a bigger hammer . Extremely difficult job that took an hour longer than it should have.
Now the good news:
Started it up for just a second so I could see how it sounds. This pipe sounds AMAZING! Deep Low Rumble and VERY LOUD. Exactly what I was hoping. It looks bad *** too. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
Next Step:
Dyno tune with the new SERT. I'll update when I have more info.
