Default Genuine harley lift adapter

For those of you who use the red Sears motorcycle lift for your service work and have an evo motor.... does the Genuine Harley lift adapter p/n 98965-99 work or do you use a different adapter?
Thanks
Herb

I have the infamous red lift and the HD dyna adapter kit. It works but there is a method. I snap the 3 orange adapters to the frame but I put the 2 on the left side of the bike at an inward angle. Then I roll the lift under the bike until it contacts the adapters. Then I straddle the bike and start standing it up and pushing the lift further underneath as I go. If done right, this will also push the adpaters straight and level with the lift pads. Just lift it up from there and strap her down and go to work.

True, if you want to be a cheapskate like Joe, use wood blocks but the 4th piece needs to be a different height to offset the frame on the rear right side.

Just kidding Joe...

Been know to cut corners myself. If I had 2 trucks and a bike at 26, I would have been doing alright.
