Both my deflector and belt guard are off 'cause I've got a Sputhe aluminum swingarm. Ran about 10000 miles last year no problem but I'll make and install an aluminum upper guard for this year.

I took my lower belt guard off and never looked back. No probems after two years of riding it that way.

I don't run the lower have had no problems and I have driven quite a bit of New Mexico dirt roads.

16,700+ miles of no problems, knock, knock.
I think I tookum both off, don't recall.

I'm really only replying so I can always find
the youTube link of turd's.

Which, is actually right back on topic,
considering the fact that Lumpy made note,
in the original post,
of his experience being rammed in the butt by aliens.

That link was not the right one, mud. However it was about "gumball population" and was pretty informative.

So where's the option for took mine off, and have had no problems? I took off both the upper and lower because I like the way it looks and have had no problems with my belt at all.
