John, it really looks good, and is a tempting mod. I am just too much an analog guy to make the switch.

I think Jay should put one on his bike, though

So I guess the 12v coffee pot has an analog clock and not a digital display?

Hey, It looks great. You did good. I'm sorry that I cost you that money. It isthis site, we get hooked on it and then we spend money on everything we see here.

It was nice talking to you the other day. It is something that we don't normally do here, actually talk to each other on the phone. I hope I was able to help.

What did you do about the speed sensor? I'm curious - did you try to piggyback wire it to the original or just go like mine.

Also curious, did the wiring notes I sent you apply to your 06 the same as my 05. Just want to know in case someone else needs the notes. Let's face it, the notes that come with it leave a lot to be desired.

I can't see the difference in the Diamond and the Dakota, except for half the price. That difference will buy more stuff for the scoot.

I get positive comments from every biker that sees mine. And they all say they are goning to do the same thing, when they hear the price.

Got me there......... No clock on 12v coffee pot
Your speedo/tach looks very clean...... I'm looking for any excuse not to get one.

Where are your codes and check engine light, etc displayed??

well, there's always a "hitch-in-the-giddy-up" as we say.

I (we) haven't figured out how/where to hook up the engine light yet. It has one in the readout, but I just can't figure out where to hook the wire to get a reading. I'm hoping that jmpancoast has an answer.

Other than that, it has all of the bells and whistles. speedo - tach w/ red line -right/left turn - oil - high beam -2 trip odometers plus regular odometer - battery - everything the original had plus.

The codes are stored in the ECM and can be read at the dealer if needed.

And I (we) lost the speedo "tilt" feature if we lay it over on it's side. I don't plan on doing that and if I do, the last thing I'll worry about is the read out telling me "tilt".

My Super Glide Custom never had a tach, and I really missed that, so now I have it again, plus it is all digital

And for the price,I think it is one of the best deals going. I always wanted a digital oval unit, because of my T-bars,but just couldn't justify getting up off of $400.00 to buy one. When I saw this one for half the price................sold.

Looks real good, jmpancoast. You still have all the idiot lights, turn signals, oil, fuel, check engine, hi-beams, etc?
