Default New shocks - pics

Installed my new shocks this morning. Weather was favorable so I got a test ride in.
What a difference. They are progressive 412's 11 inch. They are pretty close, as far as clearance. I rode it pretty hard and it did not bottom out.

Nice improvement in handling.

Simple to change out.
Only took 30 minutes, that included messing with the jacks.

If you are putting shorter shocks on you have to be able to lift the rear wheel independantly of the bike though.

Looks great!

Is it just me, or does that look like more than a 1 inch difference? It looks like the rear end was dropped about 2 inches.

I think I just had a light bulb moment.

From here on out, no Wide-Glide shall go un-lowered, nor un-aped ever again!

No comparison!! That is absolutely badass dude. I don't typically like bobbed fenders, but that just gives it a whole new look and personality. I agree, all bikes should be lowered.

That looks much better, I'm typically not a big Wide Glide fan but lowering it makes it look about 100% better.I got to get off my *** and get me some 11" Progressives.
