yes i removed all the reflectors and that strip (letter opener) on the tank....I had that and a few other little thingsall done within a couple hours of bringing it home.
Don't bother fretting over it any longer...just take the hit and get back in the saddle of what you really want. You won't be happy until you do. It's like buying a car without the options you really wanted; you'll always regret it until you get what you really wanted to begin with.
I took a hit trading my paid for 05 1200C with only 2500 miles(multiple deployments). Well worth the hit. I already have 1000 miles on my Fatbob after only 1 month. Not bad for crappy weather I guess.
You can regret the financial hit or you can regret not getting the bike you really want. You can make more money, but you may not get over that nagging feeling you shoulda bought the other bike. One thing I will say is you may be better off waiting for warmer weather to get rid of your bike, depending on where you live. But who knows, you may catch the dealer at the right time (end of month/year) when they're wanting to unload some of the new inventory.
i agree just take the hit and trade for the fatbob, i traded in my 2007 streetglide and have not regretted it one time, the fatbob is an awesome bike, kinda like a blonde with big *****, u just cant stop looking at it

Whylee -take the loss and get what you want. It's only money invested inlearning what wil make you happy> That's what a bike is supposed to be about. Run to the dealerand negotiate the best deal you can then move on !!! Been there, done that - trust me
