Default Trade my near new Rush 2.0's for SE's?

Perhaps this is not the right place but I am seriously wondering if one of you here who do not like your new style SE performance pipes might like to trade for my new Rush 2.0 pipes.

The Rush pipes are loud and very deep in sound. Perhaps a little too loud for my older self. What I wish for is something between the Rush pipes and the stock pipes.

If interested please let me know.

Tom

My brother also has SE with less than 300 miles that would most likely be interested in trading....I just cant get him on the phone to have him respond. Put me (or him) second in line behind Fred please.

I would be happy to talk to either or both of you about this. PM me if you wish. As I ride my bike to work many days I would request you send pipes first. But I would most certainly verify my identity and location.
I do love the sound of the Rush pipes, but they are just a little loud for some of the neighborhoods I have to ride through at six in the morning. . .

Will check PMs in the morning. And yes I do know I would lose a little performance from the trade but that is fine. I do not ride my bike hard anyway. I am a cruiser type.

I shouldn't say anything because I don't have a dog in this fight really. I understand the Rush are too loud for your personal taste but make sure you realize just how quiet and close to stock the newer SE's are before you make the jump. I've had 3 friends mount those SE's. 2 got rid of them within the first month and the other still runs them but doesn't like them. He's just too cheap to spend more money on something else.

Where are you located, since you still riding daily, are you in AZ by any chance? I have SE II's, but they may too loud for you also.

songsmith...You will most likely pick up in performance with the new S/E Slip On's.. And they don't sound Like Stock... I have them on one of my bikes for that same Exact reason (early morningKeeping the peace in the neighborhood) TheySound Good, and Perform Great... Pm Airbourn350 or b5macand ask if they sound like stock...

We'll just agree to disagree (again). Of course they don't sound just like stock but pretty darn close by my ears. My neighbor has them (he's the cheap one that won't spend the money on different pipes but doesn't like the SE's) and I hear them all the time. Or, I guess I should say, I don't hear them all the time.

But, maybe that's what this guy is after. To each his own.
