Too late now, but shippers often recommend removing mirrors, antennas, and other exposed items. Good to see that they will pay for damages though.

 

What about the brake fluid? I hear it does nasty stuff to anything on the bike it comes in contact with.

 

Brake fluid will tear up the paint and just about anything else it comes in contact with. Man, I hate changing the brake fluid for fear that I will spill some and have it all over the place. Burns the skin, too! Ouch!
