Does any one know if an 05 tank will fit on an 06 dealer says it should? Does any one know for sure? Thank you

 

If they are both set up for fuel injection, they both should fit.

Your dealer is your best source for this info. You would think they could tell you definately whether or not the tank sare interchangable.

Seems if they were to take a second and look up part numbers for the 05 tank, then the numbers for the 06 tank, they could then compare the numbers to see if they are the same.

Please feel free to hit your ctrl and p buttons to print this if your dealer needs to use it as a guide sheet.

 

Even though the Dyna frames changed from 2004/2005 and the 2006 models, the tanks should fit with no problem. I bought an e-bay tank off a 2006 and it bolted right up to my 2004, no fitment problems at all.
