Default K&N RK3909 Installation

Wise Ones,

I installed the RK3909 High Volume Air Filter kit on my 07 FXDC. No problems, except the rubber beauty seal on the ac cover that "used" to mate up with the old backing is now loose. I just took it off. Did I miss something? Bike runs great, I have V&H Big Shot Staggered pipes and I installed the V&H Fuelpak.

Just curious. You can see it laying loose in the attached picture, I have since removed it all together.

Rick

The rubber seal no longer serves a purpose. Take it off.
