Wow. 186 pages. It will take some time to go through all of these.

& Doesn't HD stand for "hundred dollars"? These mods don't even fit the bill.

I ordered and received Moroso 39010 hood pin kits. I was looking for a quick disconnect for the HD rigid bags on my Fat Bob.
Thread pitch is 3/8-16 - the same as mounting hardware for bags and back rests. With a nut all the way to the top of the pin it is a perfect fit for the saddle bags; I just have to cut the threads off to match the length (front and rear are different. I am going to buy chrome nuts and try it out. I don't see any reason it won't work perfectly. I was a toolmaker/model maker in another life. The only draw dack is the pins are aluminum, not chrome. I don't see stregth as being an issue, just cosmetics but then again you could get them plated. With the bags off they extend @ 1 1/4" past the quick mounts for the sissy bar.

I'd like to see some pics with the bags on and off. I hard mounted mine for security and it's a pain to remove them. Guessing yours can't be removed without the bags being unlocked?

IU been looking at saddlebags for awhile now and realized Im gonna hafta move the turn sigs.I used all the stock parts and needed 2 5/16 x 4 '' bolts, 4 buttconnectors and some heat shrink. tools needed are a drill and some drill bits, allen wrenched, 9/19 and 1/2 wrenches.

Default Cup Holder

Heading out on a trip and wanted a cup holder...

Total cost was about $3 worth of materials I had at home. Used some locally "grown" and naturally tanned moose leather and sinew.

All hand cut, hand tooled, hand stitched and hand dyed.

Not what I'd call a recommended mod, but I broke my battery terminal while tightening and replaced it with the battery out of a $20 dollar Schumacher XP400 jump starter. Starts just fine as long as the battery is warm and is still working fine after a year of daily riding. I would imagine the larger http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher...tlyViewedItems 750 amp batteries would be perfect.

As for me, I'm going to add two of these in parallel to my existing walmart battery to relieve the cold weather performance issues.

first post on this thread so sorry if i mess up in some way.
so ive never liked the brake light that came on my 06 bob and after looking and looking and not finding one i liked in my price range, i decided i could just use an old front turn signal. i had it lying around with the smoke lens so i just painted it black and bought a red led light for it $8.99 at autozone. all i did was wire it in and mount it through an existing hole that i had to drill out a little bit bigger. then used my lisence plate to cover the hole from the old light until i get around to filling it. well here it is easy and cheap.

I like it. Why not some chrome bullets or spikes for the holes? And a high-output LED bulb so you can be seen better.
