Belt to Chain?

RE: Belt to Chain?
there have been a few threads about this topic and it seems like a 200 can be squeezed in there with something as simple as changing the spacers. No need to go to a chain drive. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get better, more in depth, and more optimistic feedback from the other guys

i'd rather have the chain also as i think i'm gonna be in the belt breakage realm between the engine/power modifications and the constant clutch drop/burnouts/wheelies. for what its worth i've been told you can fit the 200 on a new dyna without having to go to a chain if thats all your going for abcd9906. see the hogpro website.

Thanks guys ... I have heard all the reliability issues of the belt .. If I wanted reliable I'd bought a Honda .. lol . j/k. Personally, I think a chain looks bad *** but with a 200 on a dyna with the belt .. it has to come damn close to rubbin the belt doesn't it? My buddy has a lowrider with the 180 and it looks damn close with the 180 on there.
As with Ed .. I'm pretty hard on my bike. (Sorry) I always find myself racing someone, burnin out, trying to wheelie ... I don't know.
I think an open belt drive with a chain final would look really good on a bob ..., Just my 2 cents though.
Opinions etc are still welcome.

then why ask what we think. if you already had your mind made up?you got to do what you want. we can only give you what we would do .but if you are going to be that hard you will go thru more chains and sprockets.and you may want to carry a spare chain with you because they will snap.
