It's a fairly stright-forward installation, but try and round up a helper. An extra set of hands goes a long way when it's time time bolt the pipes to the heads. I found I had to stretch the pipes just a teeny bit to get the flanges on. It's not very hard at all and I'm sure yours will turn out great!

Beware that the O2 sensors maybe cross-threaded in your stock exhaust. I know that it happened to me, as well as some other members on the board. If that is not a problem, the total swap should take you no more than an hour.

PS....Harley will not warranty new 02 sensors, even if they were cross-threaded from the factory...$90 for new ones...

Here are some tips from my experience:

[ul][*]Definitely get an extra set of hands, especially if you are not an experienced wrench[*]There is a strong possibilty that one, or both of the O2 sensors are cross-threaded. My rear one was front came out with no issues[*]Spray some WD-40 on the O2 sensors and let them sit for a few minutes before removing them from the stock headers[*]Buy the Screaming Eagle exhaust port crush gaskets. You will need to replace the old gaskets[*]Apply some masking tape on the cooling fins to prevent scratching them when removing the old exhast and installing the new one[*]If your bike is an '08 you will need a spacer (plastic) that needs to be installed with one of the bolts you are replacing with the rear exhaust mounting bracket. (Vance and Hines will send you one for free.)[*]Take your time, do not rush[/ul]

It's not such a scary deal. An extra set of hands always help in just about any project, but you could still do it yourself fairly easily.

Like some above stated just be careful of the 02 sensors. Didn't have an issue with mine, but I guess I just got lucky.

Gibo Are you putting on a fuel managment system and a high flow filter? You will need to for your bike to run correctly. Just a thought Smiley
