Default 07 WG Bad Battery???

532 miles, mostly short trips recently. Did a firmware upgrade from PCIII usb as per jammie due to Delayed starting after warm. [ yes did the hit the on/off started buton trick] After upgrade to the new 2.2.2.0 [ [ right?] She threw a code "P1004" System Relay Contacts Closed EFI . Could have been me screwing with the lap top while conected to the bike ?
Clearened the code. Did a few re-starts and code search thing. NONE showed up. [ but now gives me all the part numbers displayed in the osomoter] Screwed with it somemore , re-starts [ lights up after 3 to 5 turns] .
Short ride about 10 minutes [local] . Home quick re-start o see if Jammies fix worked [ aaahh sort of]
Today battery very low no fuel pump sound, yet engine would crank over a little [ slow]
put the battery tender on [ only 750 mil amps ?] after a few minutes fuel pump sound came back. but still no fire up. [ very slow. All lights work ] Has theTSSM security system.
Really Hate the FI Harleys. Give me a carbed Bike anyday.

Did you install the pigtail for the Tender? Go and check that the battery cables are tight. Maybe the screw(s) became loose.

I've read on this site about the newer bikes batteries cables tend to work themselves loose might want to consider to put some lock washers under the bolts that hold the cables in place.

See thats why I like this place and the guys here.
I called a casual friend at my stealer. He said the same thing Tighten the battey connections.
I did , they were a tad loose[ I was able to turn them easy with a screw drive., guess I didn't tighten them all the way when I put on the Pig-tails for the battery tender]
So this morning with I hit the ing. switch and the kill switch, heard the fuel pump going like hell, hit the starter. Holly $hit maybe 3 revolutions and she fired up. Now normaly it would take a few more due to the PCIII.
I just hope it was me doing to many starts and screwing around with the read out.
Gonna do a lock or Star washer on the battery.
IOU guys one.
Thanks again

Always check the simple things first.
And after you install star washers and you have the same problem check the connections again, some people would look elsewhere.
