RE: Longest Road trip you've taken your Dyna
Route 66 last year on a LR ... 2700 miles or so of mostly back roads
9500 miles since March on my bob ... most in a day is 600 ... no problems
The art to comfort (apart from a reasonable comfortable seat) is to get a backrest for long days (>300 miles) ... I do this by bungeeing a soft bag onto my rack so it pushes against me and supports the lumbar ... very comfortable like that ... Ratbasturd has a good example of this in his pic
oh ... and highway pegs ... i like my mids so I can move between the two peg positions ... but will depend on how big you are.
Wish i'd figured out the backrest when i rode 66 ... numb bum most days ...

Around 700 miles roundtrip from Philly to East Coast Sturgis last August. About 600 of that was there and back and the rest was riding around the mountain while I was there. Ride home seemed to take a little longer due to dehydration from drinking myself silly for a couple days straight.

RE: Longest Road trip you've taken your Dyna
I’ve taken a couple of trips from LA up the coast to Monterrey. The latest one was for the Hollister rally in July. Up the coast, inland to Yosemite, back to Hollister and then home. It was about 1700 miles round trip.
I’m debating the trip to either Sturgis or Daytona next year. I’ll do one of the two.
I have a Corbin seat and forwards for comfort but that's it.

Traveling is just easy on a Dyna once you get it set up where you're comfortable.
Just this past weekend I rode to Lakeland from Mobile on Friday, visited family, went to a bike night and rode back on Sunday. About twelve hundred miles.
I've made several runs to the Ohio valley running seven fifty to eight hundred miles in one day. Probably my longest run was to Key West, about twenty two or twenty three hundred miles in four days.
I usually leave about four in the morning, stop for a sit down breakfast about seven and a sit down lunch about one pm with plenty of stops to stretch my legs or sight see and then hit it hard late in the afternoon to finish the trip.
Good Luck
Tom
