I am buying new wheels for my 96 FXDL, and I am switching the wheel size. I have just changed my front end over to a WG front end and am going to use a 21" front wheel and a low profile tire. I was thinking about using a 18" back wheel (it came O.E.M. with a 16 - but I have several inches of clearance). I was wondering if any of you guys had switched to a larger rear wheel and if you liked the results. Would lvoe to see a pic of the larger wheel and how much more it fills up the huge void between the wheel and fender. Thanks

I'd be very interested as well as I'm looking to upgrade the stock 16/3.5 rear laced but don't know if I have the clearance?

I dont have any pics.....nor have I done this.............. . .but I can tell you it will work......and it will look good......fill in some of that space.............good luck......................and post some pics.before and after.....................................
