Default removing stock hand grips?

Howdy all,
is there a way to remove the stock rubber hand grips from my street bob without cutting them off?

There very well may be Daggs, but it involves way too much effort for the end result.

They cannot be safely re-used, so cut it off.

If you decide later to put stock grips back on for whatever reason, you can find them for a dime a dozen on ebay or other places....

You can save the right side but not the left(it's glued on, cut it off) I don't know what else you can do.

Are you sure it's glued on? I assumed mine were, but alas it was not. Came right off with the removal of the switch housing.

Yah mine clutch side was not glued on to well, it was stickey but I was able to pull it off without much effort. after seeing how cheap they were though I would not want to reuse either.

They aren't on all that good. If you get a screwdriver (careful) under the grip and lift a little, should break it free enough to twist and slide off.

Probably best to just put ya some new ones on.

Mine was glued on pretty good. Cut it off not worth saving the stock grips anyway.

I've heard the screwdriver trick and some WD-40 will do the trick.

I twisted the left grip as hard as I coulduntil the glue broke (almost broke my hand too)then pulled it off. You could also try one of those strap wrenches to twist it off.
