Those sliders look real good. I realize this sounds silly but was that done on or off the bike? If I may make a suggestion, use Starbright Marine Polish for a good weather protective wax. Works real well on aluminun (it is made for aluminum boats).Put that powerball to work on that primary with the "mothers" and then the starbright you will be amazed. Good Job

I did my fork lowers on the bike.I just put it on a stand and took the wheel off.Good idea to tape off the chrome cap.There's a thread in the chassishow to do it your self sectionthat is very helpful.He did his with the wheel on the bike but I think you can do a better job withit out of the way.
