Muds directions are awesome man... i have done several using his how to...

on mine i cut it and then coated it, coating the main bolt to match my tins the the cover in gloss

Mine just came in the mail today and i threw it on the bike after work. Camera battery was dead, but i'll get a pic up soon to show off Mud's work. I must say, he's a stand-up guy! He called me when the package was received and gave me a play-by-play on when it would be finished and shipped back. That's better than 99% of these "customer service oriented" companies. Thanks Mud!

 

Here is my attempt for my 2010 Street Bob. Bought a football from an '07 in the classified section. Also got a A N Big Sucker there. Waited patiently for parts to arrive and some spare time. Followed Mud's directions and proceeded with confidence. Some pics...

I just picked up a TC 88 Dyna Superglide football from the classifieds. I will be cutting it up as soon as it arrives. Will post some pics next week. That will leave my Evo style cover up for sale. I know a lot of guys are looking for these. Currently it is covering a Ness filter on a SE backplate. Can't wait to show it off. Wish I had the Ness backplate though. Breather looks much better.

Yes I saw that. You guys were doing this long before I was even saving for my Harley. I'm glad to finally be here and thank all that paved the way for us new guys.

 

How do you protect the edge where the cut has been done? Won't it rust without any sort of protection?
