I would just like to have the cut out from my 07 Bob for a second cover to alternate back and forth.
I'm with ya there. That will probably be something I'll pursue if/when I ever feel like I'm done with everything else I want.

Chrome. I don't know what came over me. Never got into chrome over the years. Bought the Bob because of the black engine, etc. Now I've installed chrome primary, rockers, tappet blocks, cam cover, trans cover, lower sliders, shocks, belt guard, debris deflector cover, electrical panel, coil cover, battery band and cover, fender struts, etc., etc. Thinking about swing arm when I replace the rear tire. Must be a sickness.[:-]

That looksSO sweet Mud! I've been wishing I had the tools and skill to do that to my football. It looksSO much better than my MoCo Flames cover.

Ya think so? The flame cover is nice.
Do you have chrome rocker boxes or are they just polished up? Looks sharp!

If you don't want to run an open filter, don't buy one that is designed to be run open - right?

Since some are sold with covers, I have never assumed that all round filters are designed to be run open. Am I wrong about that? I know several people that run various aftermarket ACs with some sort of cover. How much flow would you guess they are losing that way?

I have done that with a round cover and the 'skull' keeper over it.
That looks real sweet Mud, wish I had the tools to convert my football.

I'vedug WS6's cover since the first time I saw it, but I don't really want to run an open filter. I want to get a plain round cover and attach the "keeper" part to it. Has anybodytried that?
Yep,I have done exactly that.I didn't want to run an open filter as I ride in the rain occasionally and just don't like the idea of it being soaked while it's running. It is open at the bottom though to get more air.
