I read something on here about buying a cheap mouse pad and cutting that up to use as buffer pads under the seats to protect the fender, seems like a good idea.

I have the pillon and my wife was fine on a 90+ mile ride. Might not be good for big girls, but it comes off easy and looks ok

My wife rides with me a lot, when we bought our 06 Streetbob we also bought the passenger pillion. She likes it, says it's comfortable and we haven't had a problem with it being unstable. It remained on the bike until I was doing some work to the bike about 4 months after purchase. Took the seat off and the pillion rubbed the fender to the bare metal in two spots about the size of qarters. Stupid bumpers moved and didn't work worth a crap!!!

Im in the process of re painting my rear fender for that exact same reason, the spots were down to bare metal, but only about the size of a tic tack

I use this and my wife seems to be fine with it. We've done a 150 mile trip before. I will be sending it to MCC to improve the seat though.

I have the pillion and don't think it looks to bad. I like it enough to keep it on full time now. And I have not had any complaints from my passengers either.

bymyway can you post pics of your ride...I'm really curious of the look...and if you don't mind what was he price of the pillion...

I was trying to decide between a sidekick custom or a pillion...I went with the brown distressed seat and pillion combo...I love the seat by itself but can't stand the look of the pillion installed...the pillion removes easily enough but there's a large shoulder bolt that needs to be removed and that's a pain...overall I regret the purchase...
