Does anyone have pics of apes on a Superglide? Yeah I already searched so please don't just say "do a search dude"...

I can get some 16" apes with all of the cables from a friend of mine for a great price. I like the look and feel of them on his Wideglide, but I'm not sure how they'd look on my bike with the narrower forks and shorter rake.

Any input is appreciated!

 

I love my stock mini apes on my Street Bob. IMO, apes look good on any Harley..

 

depends...are they really wide? Mine go out from the riser "quite a ways" before turning up....the ones that are narrow at the clamp will look much better with the narrow glide front end.

My opinion only....16's and higher are too much. I have the 13's on mine, and they are perfect.

I have 18s on mine....I had to search a little to find ones that didn't extend to far part the sides of the tiple trees. Internal wiring was no problem....I have a shop here that has an a$$ load of cables, so I parked it in the parking lot and experimented with lengths.

I know these aren't as tall as you are inquiring aboutand this is probably a waste of space, but my sig shows Bob mini-apes on an 06 Super Glide. I like the look and they fit me perfectly. I find them much more comfortable than the stock buckhorns.

 

I JUST INSTALLED MY 16" CHUBBYS LAST NIGHT ILL POST PICS BY TONIGHT . I LL TELL YOU THOUGH CHANGEING THE BARS WAS THE BIGGEST PAIN IN THE ***. IMO BUT ITS ALL FINISHED NOW.

 

I put black street bob bars with 4 1/2" risers. I like the look and feel. I am on an 06' Superglide.

 

see sig pic, had 16's and loved them but local law says no hands above the shoulders soooooo my pic shows my SB mini 10in apes with 4in risers!!! now my hands are perfectly at my shoulders and i didnt have to sacrfices much.
