Default Headlight help

Have an '02 FXDX. Would like to up-grade the headlight to the newer reflector/lens. What's needed to do this? Will the new style reflector fit into the existing lamp case? Same bulb or newer/different? any info appreciated.

I just popped in a Xenon H4 bulb - big difference for cheap - about $10 for the bulb, problem is, you have to buy 2 or buy 1 from the dealer for $21.00
The HD catalog hasabout 6optional lens set ups in the $60 range - look in the Multi-fit section.

Could you please tell us why you would like to do this ie: more light, better looks, etc?

OK Now would you like to replace the bucket, convert the bucket to a "Softail/Chopper style, or just buy a whole other unit such as (example only-Not style) this as photo'd below? As far as light source, would you wish to go cheap or would you like to turn night into day? The light pictured below would mount differently on your bike.
