Can a person go the other way? I'd like to raise the rear by 1" to increase the suspension travel (longer stroke on the shock).

you can get the 12 hd progressive and because the spring is a little stiffer it will raise the back end up about 3/4 to an inch depending on what setting you have them set. that was the way i went the first time then decided to lower it with the 11 and i do weigh about 220 but when i ride single i adjust it down to the 2nd setting with two up have to run it all the way to the highest setting but the ride is good .
