Derby cover for 08 Street Bob
I purchased a new Derby Cover for my bike today. The mechanic at JP Motor Sports said I didn't need a new gasket When I tried to make the switch the derby cover is justrounded a little on the inside. My stock cover has grooves for the gasket.
Any suggestions on how I change the cover?

You need the flat "frisbee" type gasket.

Yep, yo need the frisbee for the 5 hole Derby cover................ or you can just RTV/ gasket maker it. No pressure there. Matter of fact, if you just seal the bottom half, it won't leak unless you drop the bike on the left side

Those oil leaks are a pain - I end up with a puddle on the garage floor every time I lay the bike over to clean the underside.
