Performance& Sound= Thunder header...... Reinhart also = Good choice ... Go listen at your local hang out and decide which you like best .... Vance & Hines [:'(]

Noise is in the ears of the beholder/listener. I just put a set of V&H Pro Pipes on my FXDL. Not too loud, but deep, deep rumble. Very noticeable performance difference with them and the Mikuni carb all the way through the band. Would take a lot to make me change them out.

I had an interesting chat with Bob Wood this afternoon, he stated that he had been testing some popular 2 to 1s lately. His tests were between the Rindhart , the SuperTrap and the D&D fat cat.
He told me that the Rinehart did the best up to 4K rpm then the D&D and the Super Trap were neck and neck to redline.
This was the first time I have spoken to Mr Wood and I must say it was intreging!
He I definetly is into Horse power! and he has the know how to make it happen.
