I Switched from my long shots to a bassani road rage 2 into 1. Unbelievable difference in " seat of pants " . Has a good sound and to me .. nice look. That's my 2 cents, though.
I also run RB Racing pipes, but runing the LSR Blackholes.....great pipes, but the wait is long, they are pricey and the guy that builds them, well, lets jut say he is a "unique" individual.
I recently installed screamin' eagle slip ons and not all that impressed. Sounds ok but not making women and children cry like I was hoping. So I'm selling them and having a black old school thunderheader installed with a race tuner and dyno time. Should get the bike back after thanksgiving. Up here in the northwest it's pretty much accepted that a thunderheader = bliss.
I have the supetrapp 2 into 1 silent series and it opens up nicely when you get on the throttle when you need to be quite you can. They carry a real deep sound. I really like a loud set of pipes but when i heard these pipes on one of the techs harley i liked the sound the best. His pipes have a lot more miles on them and the core is getting close to needing repacked so it is deep and a lot louder than mine. Most loud pipes are a higher pitch that i dont like as well. I am riding a lot trying to open mine up as much as possible. They perform very well also they are adjustable.
