Default fuel injectors

anyone ever use fuel injector cleaner in their gas. i know i use it in my trucks whenever i change the oil . wondering if anyone uses it in their bike. domt want to screw anything up but it kind of makes sense. advice please

I might be wrong but, I think most quality gasolines have an additive already in them that accomplishes just that. I know I've read somewhere, maybe on consumer reports, that almost all additives for both gas and oil are a waste of money and don't do what they advertise.

I have used it after each oil change, just like in my truck. I try to use one that has some lube in it for the seals. So far no issues, just purrs along. I have read the articles about not using the cleaners, but also have looked at injectors pulled from different vehicles. They can gum up and get pretty nasty looking. I figure that the cleaner is cheaper than new injectors.

I've used it on a car that had gummed up injectors and it worked well. It was a lot cheaper than buying new injectors. I wouldn't use it unless I had a problem. Most modern fuels have additives that are designed to keep fuel systems clean.
