RE: Rinehart’s Color Changes
No worries. Just want to avoid some of the issues most of us go through updating/upgrading our bikes. Some of this stuff (most of it) isn't cheap and I want to try to do it right the first time. I am learning more and more everyday from you guys and want to say THANKS!!!

RE: Rinehart’s Color Changes
It looks like there are two set screws that hold the end cap on. I'm currently contemplating what to do with mine, as I've been a bit aggressive in the twisties and one of those set screws is ground flush. Makes me nervous that I might need to break out a drill or dremel tool to replace the end cap.

Well if any of you have a good black end cap that you are going to swap out with a chrome or something else and want to get a little $ back on it, I might be interested. I have the 2-1 so just need one that would fit that. Otherwise I'm either going to find some sort of touch up paint that will adhere to the end cap and withstand the heat or pay $100 for a replacement cap. The fact that I've only had the Rinehart on for 3 weeks before I damaged the end cap BURNS ME!!! (Makes me a little sad, actually!)

If they came new with the copper color only, I probably
still would have bought them, even though the black goes
better with my bike.
The two into one has 3 screws holding them in.
End caps don't come cheep for sure.

Not to hijack the thread, but have you all who went with the Rinehart 2 into 1 pipes found the problem Firefighter had- scraping in the turns? Is the clearance decreased with the addition of the Rineharts? I'd hate to decrease my 06 bob's clearance more, but I'm thinking of installing the Rineharts for Stage 1 upgrade. What do you all think? Jay
