If you prep it right, the results are really good. Make sure you have a good clean, grease/oil/dust/dirt free surface, and a coat of primer under it.

Yes I have..........I had to play with it a bit before I got it perfect for me.....I got it down now........
The hot summer here helped.......
My A/C cover was a billet piece off of my Nomad.....
I bead blasted the chrome and used the rattle can wrinkle......
Take a look.......looks good to me.......

Remember to use texture black not wrinkle black if you're trying to match the factory pieces.

Good Luck

you just gotta give it plenty of time to cure, heat will do the trick if it's slow.

Difference is just like it sounds, wrinkle finish drys in small wrinkle like ridges, texture finish drys in a smoother, pebble like finish, kinda looks like rough sandpaper.

Good Luck

I used wrinkle black on the valve covers and air cleaner cover of my '73 GMC pickup. It turned out great.

I used the wrinkle black spray paint on some bars I had but they came out a little on the shiny side IMO. Same thing happened when I painted my side mount plate. Can't seem to quite get it to match up with the factory paint as much as I would like it too.
