3666 I also have a 06 SB and I like the looks of the ones on my mini apes. I have a set of detacable windshiled and I had to leave the turn signals alone. I have put a set of HD fog lights on the engine guard and I have been told that I can be seen fron a long way off.

I saw the swing away license plate frame on the Nightser. I think it would like nice on your bike or on a Bob.
Looking at the photos of it on the H-D site, it looks like it actually may "swing away" and fold flat against the bike?
I can think of many a good use for that feature.
If I'm not mistaken, yes, they fold in and out. I'm surprised it's legal considering the possibilities that you're thinking of...lol

The signals look great. I had the same reaction as many to the H-D relocation kit -- stems are a bit on the long side. I figured that they are that way to accommodate a windshield. Standard location or relocated, I like clear and smoked lenses better than the stock amber lenses.

In the "too each their own" category, I'd say that I like the stock headlight better than the accessory ones. I like the combination of the black casing and chrome rim. Good thing people have different tastes, though...think about how many different directions people take with the same bike.

For those considering installing this billet headlight, it's way easy and takes about 20 minutes, it's plug and play. You do not need to remove fuel tank, only lift it a bit in front. Pry off rubber grommet where headlight wire goes into frame. Next pry off plastic "tongue" under frame, this will give you access to wiring. Fish out the one for headlight, plenty of slack in there, pull it out to unclip it, connect new one and shove it back in, button it up, and adjust new headlight. Step back and admire.

Ok, I'm sure I'm going to be the minority here but I actually like the stock location of the front turn signals. With the mini apes on my Street Bob, they have a distinctive look to them, and my riding buddies have confirmed that they can pick me out of a group of bikes at night because of the stock setup. Am I alone here in liking the stock setup?
While I don't care for apes, mini or otherwise, I do agree the signals look better on the bars.

How far back in the backbone are the connectors for the turnsignals? I do not want to pull TOO hard on the wires trying to get to them. I got the headlight wires out real easy when I changed it out.

I don't think they look too terrible where they are stock...there's other stuff like the plate frame, tail light, grips/pegs that I want to change out first.

I've been thinking about relocating mine...they do look better on the forks to me.
