Same thing happened to me. High beam went out after about 2 months. I'm not replacing the bulb every 2 months just to run one. Trying to decide on what to use next.

I bought3 of them within a two year period. Ran em in both of my Touring bikes. Kept my greasy fingers off them during install. No sure what caused them to fail. Maybe leaking air into them? Went back to running the stock bulbs I took out in the first place. No more problems. I think it is just poor workmanship on the Chinese part.
