I want to remove the stock, sissy bar side plate on my '05 WG, and i unbolted the back rest and the 2 fender support bolts and still no give. Is there adhesive used too? I'm trying not to be too rough to avoid scratching the fender. Anyone been thru this and can help me out?..... Anyone?.......Bueller? Thanks.

Default RE: Sissy bar side plate removal

Anyone?.......Bueller? Thanks. Gotta love Ben Stein

First, I got a Bob, not aWG. Not sure about the differences, if any. Should be no adhesive used. But I put mine on, not taken off a factory install. I just had to remeove the turn signal bolts and the middle ones(the next ones forward of the turn signal)
