Default RE: saddle bags for Street bob

Tourmaster Cruiser II slant bags I bought the large but I wished I had got the XL. They fit fine without any brackets and I have no problems with them rubbing on anything. I have a 06 Street Bob. As with any bags, you have to relocate the rear turn signals. I used the Factory kit which puts them back by the license plate bracket. When I use the 2 up seat they can just be put under the seat with no other hardware. I have put a blind seat nut in the middle hole of the fender so I can attach them with a single screw when I use the stock single seat. The leather has kind of messed up the finish on the fender. I should have put something between them from the start.

One problem is with them flying up in the wind
This is actually pretty easy to fix.Punch a couple of small holes through the bottom forward corners of the bags in back and take some leather string and tie them to the bottom shock mounting bolts.Problem solved. You can also tie them to the top shock bolts and the fender rails if it makes you feel more secure.

Not true!!
If you want Easy Brackets, their web site says you have to relocate the turn signals. If you use narrow slant bags without brackets, you don't need to relocate.
