Default Still can't find anything on the sissy bar for 06 streetbob

Hey all,

Sorry for the bother. I asked before and didn't quite get an answer so I figured I'd try one more time.

I'm having a hard time finding the sissy bar and side plates that will fit my bike. Again, I have an 06 dyna streetbob. Could anyone possibly direct me with some links? I called JPCycles, and the guy told me they don't make anything yet for my bike, which can't be true cause I've seen it done. Then I called Phat Performance, and they couldn't give any answers. Called another place, and nothing. So if ANYONE could help me, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Is there really a big difference in frame with the 05 to 06 models? Cause Khrome Werks makes them for the 02-05 dyna models, but was wondering how much of a difference it is.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Adrian

I have the Chrome Works on my 06 Bob. Not sure if they were listed spefically for the 06 or not, they could of been for 05. I bought them last year. Don't have the package any more. Sorry I couldn't help more. Oh, mine are not detachable.

You can find both the rigid and detachable sideplates on the HD website. I've had both and currently have a set of black deatachable sideplates for sale. There is a difference between the '05 and '06 - some fairly major frame changes took place in 2006.

Once you've found the part #s you need, cross reference through Zanotti's; you'll save quite a bit of money, even more than your dealer discount, if you have one...

Many of us have purchased older Dyna side plates and modified them to our needs.

Check out www.ginzchoppers.com

Gin dosn't have a Solo Seat Sissy Bar option for the 06 dyna street bob yet...but he told me that they would have one soon. I'm waiting...but they do have something for the dyna's if you want a two up sissy bar.

Check out CycleVisions, they got some nice bars that bolt on to the Harley side plates. The 06 fenders are wider than the 05's so the sissybar has to be wider.

Good Luck

I bought detachable side plates from HD and got a Kuryakyn Raptor sissy bar. I'll try to find the part numbers for you. Oh yeah, watch the wire cutting.
