Default S&S Hop Up or SE Stage 1 with Slip Ons

I am trying to decide between the S&S system for EFI - new back plate, breather, mufflers etc. or the SE Stage 1 with the SE slip ons. I read about the S&S system in the January Issue of V-Twin. Does anyone have experience with the S&S system and which would be recommended. My bike will be an 06 Low Rider. Thanks for the help gang!

The S&S system ( new version) is nice but good luck finding a dyno facility that has used it. You are better off going with a product that you are able to find a place to tune that used it like PC or SERT. You are asking about a tuning system correct?? Or are you referring to the a/c system and pipes?? I have used the S&S slip ons for a baggers they work great pricey but nice,.

The SE a/c works fine for mild applications But you should toss the filter you get and buy a K&N , you would still be money ahead over the S&S set up. I sell alot of the Dorhety setup they seem very popular. And are of high quality, billet backing plate verse's cast bigger filter and it is a K&N. Nice breather system and so on.

I just bought some s&s slipons for my 99 wideglide. Its carbed and has the se aircleaner with a k&n. Very nice pipes. Worth the money in my opinion.

I don't think you'll go wrong with either system. I looked into both and decided to piece out the AC by buying the SE backplate and various parts separate from the kit. I bought the KN filter. SE pipes are a dime a dozen on Ebay, so you can save some bucks there.
